In-store crime events don’t start there … and often don’t end there. To better prevent and handle crime, the LPRC INNOVATE advisory panel, along with the University of Florida and our research team, creates a series of theft, fraud, and violence scenarios.
We deploy focused sensors, connections, protection tools, and a contextual decision support platform to learn to collaborate, integrate, test, and continually improve crime and loss handling across offenders’ journeys to harm using the Five Zones of Influence from the bow tie model.
As a participant at INTEGRATE, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in the retail theft prevention process. Together, we’ll:
Detect
We identify solutions that will detect potential suspects to understand and prepare for potential risks.
Disrupt
Next, we identify solutions that disrupt potential suspects to prevent a crime event from occurring and protect people and products.
Document
Finally, we identify solutions that document potential suspects to reduce uncertainty in the local environment and identify risks.
